MERIDIAN
A fictional Riviera property house. Scrolling climbs from the harbour to the penthouse of a tower in one continuous shot, generated with AI.

What we wanted to test
Real estate sites show photographs of a view. We wanted to show the climb to it. MERIDIAN is a fictional property house with a fictional flagship residence, Le Phare. As you scroll, the camera rises from the harbour, past the terraces, to the penthouse 170 metres up, in what reads as one shot. A small altitude meter follows you, from sea level to level 49.
How it works
The film is five clips generated with AI (Higgsfield Seedance 2.0), each one starting from the last frame of the one before, then joined into a single 42-second ascent. Instead of a video, the browser draws a sequence of 512 still frames on a canvas, which stays smooth on phones where video seeking struggles.

What we learnt
Chaining AI clips into one shot only works if each prompt describes what its first frame really shows. When a prompt contradicted its start frame, the model invented a new camera position and the join became a visible cut. We now check every join by comparing the last frame of one clip with the first frame of the next, a test that catches cuts a person would see.
