The brief

Raffaella Costa Architetto is an architecture and interior design studio in Genoa, founded by Raffaella Costa in 1992 after formative years with Giancarlo De Carlo and at the Renzo Piano Building Workshop. Between 2025 and 2026 we drew its new identity from scratch, designed and built its website, and photographed one of its projects.

What we made

The monogram joins Raffaella’s initials: the leg of the R runs inside the curve of the C, with the same stroke width throughout, so the two letters read as one drawing. In the wordmark, RAFFAELLA in light and COSTA in bold run together with no space. We delivered the identity as a brand book with the logo files.

The website, raffaellacosta.com, is in Italian, on a dark palette, with five pages and twelve projects. We didn’t produce its homepage film, the film La Storia di Raffaella or the client testimonials, but we advised on their production.

We photographed Casa Bianca, one of the studio’s projects in Genoa, inside and out, and from a drone.
